Meet Your Violinist.

Tess picked up a violin when she was five years old living in Watertown, MA, and fifteen years on has yet to put it down!

Using the Suzuki method, she studied with Cimone Phillips until she was around thirteen years old. She then studied under Lisa Crocket who is herself a member of the Boston Ballet and Boston Pops orchestras. After Tess moved briefly to Denver she studied with Rachel Ervin, continuing online with Rachel when she returned to New England. She now studies with a Professor from her school, Marianne Vogel.

Tess auditioned and was selected as a member of the New England Conservatory Orchestra under Peter Jarvis and Marta Zurad and the Denver Young Artist Orchestra under Wes Kenney.

She is currently studying music at Manchester Community College, strengthening her grasp of musical theory and history. She is the president of the school music club and accompanies the congregational singing violin at her church.
